Megan Coane is very pleased to have rejoined Plager Schack LLP as an associate attorney after a three year absence. Megan joined Plager Schack LLP immediately after graduating from law school at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
After leaving Plager Schack, Megan went to work as in-house counsel for Warner Music Group, where she primarily worked on copyright and trademark infringement matters for all of Warner Music Group’s catalog artists. Megan helped head the Rights Enforcement division of Warner Music Group’s legal affairs department for three years. She specializes in copyright and trademark enforcement and infringement.
Currently, Megan works on various trademark, copyright, and litigation matters for Plager Schack from San Francisco, where she lives with her husband and Maincoon cat. Megan comes from a family with a long history in the Los Angeles entertainment business. She is a major foodie and pop culture fiend. When not working, you can find her in a yoga, Pilates, or cycling class, perusing local farmers markets, or checking out the latest exhibit at one of San Francisco’s many museums.
Megan earned her B.S. in Music Industry at the University of Southern California where she also minored in Political Science. She went on to earn her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. Her primary practice areas include copyright, trademark, music law, and litigation.
